Gender Equality Index
La Providence has published its results for the new gender equality index, in accordance with the "Freedom to Choose Your Professional Future" law of September 5, 2018.
The gender equality index allows companies to assess their progress in terms of professional equality between women and men through 5 key indicators, aimed at achieving both realistic and ambitious goals.
The 5 indicators, each scored between 0 and 40 points depending on their nature, result in a total score out of 100:
- 40 points: Wage gap (base salary and bonuses)
- 20 points: Distribution of individual salary increases
- 15 points: Distribution of promotions
- 15 points: Percentage of women receiving a raise after returning from maternity leave
- 10 points: Number of women and men in the top 10 highest salaries
In 2023, La Providence achieved a gender equality score of 89/100.
