WHAT ARE THE RISKS?
Our teams must adhere to strict safety protocols as the job entails numerous risks, including:
- Risk of strain or repetitive strain injuries due to carrying loads and repetitive movements.
- Exposure to chemical products leading to spillage, inhalation, or ground contamination.
- Potential injuries from handling scrapers.
- Risk of hypothermia/hyperthermia due to weather conditions.
- Hazards associated with working at heights, such as falls, equipment malfunctions, and falling objects.
- To mitigate the risk of falls, La Providence has established stringent safety measures, including:
- Regular inspection of equipment (personal protective equipment, handling equipment).
- Wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (safety shoes, helmet with chinstrap, safety harness).
- Mandatory presence of two trained personnel, including an observer on the ground (for work above 3 meters).
- Ensuring suitability for the work station and using standardized lifting equipment on stable ground.
- Providing training for personnel working at heights.
- Verifying the strength of anchoring points by external organizations.
- Checking equipment functionality before use.
- Securing small equipment to the basket or window cleaner.
