What is Ecovadis?
EcoVadis is a platform that offers a comprehensive evaluation service for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). It has become the largest globally recognized provider of CSR evaluations. Since its launch in 2007, the number of companies evaluated has grown from 20,000 to 100,000 in 2022.
How does it work?
EcoVadis assesses the quality of a company's CSR management system through its policies, actions, and results. The questionnaire is tailored to the company's industry and size and focuses on four main themes:
- Social & Human Rights
- Environment
- Ethics
- Responsible Purchasing
To complete the questionnaire, companies must submit the most relevant supporting documents to achieve the highest possible score.
The Medals
Based on your scores, you may qualify for a medal:
In 2022:
- Platinum Medal: Top 1% (score between 75 and 100)
- Gold Medal: Top 5% (score between 67 and 74)
- Silver Medal: Top 25% (score between 56 and 66)
- Bronze Medal: Top 50% (score between 47 and 55)
In 2021, La Providence's overall score was 48/100.
This year, we are proud to announce that we have achieved the Silver Medal, with a score above 56/100.
A Tree Planted Thanks to This Medal
EcoVadis plants trees in their dedicated forest to reward and encourage companies that earn medals. The list of trees is available on the Tree-Nation website, and each tree comes with details about the species, planting location, annual CO2 offset, and average lifespan.
