Highlighting our apprentices

This year, La Providence has been especially committed to integrating its apprentices, whose numbers are increasing every year. Most of them are young, pursuing both theoretical and practical training, which allows them to apply what they've learned at school or directly within our company.

Last week, to welcome these students, La Providence organized an integration day in Courbevoie, France. It was an opportunity for each apprentice to introduce themselves to their mentors and meet the management team.

Apprenticeship in Focus

Apprentices have the potential to become future employees of La Providence. From a professional standpoint, apprenticeships provide a great combination of academic qualifications and hands-on experience, helping students enter the workforce more quickly after completing their studies.

With this in mind, La Providence has tripled its number of apprentices between 2016 and 2020. In fact, we had 33 apprentices in 2019, compared to just 15 in 2017.

A Meal, A Presentation, and An Activity

Welcome Speech by Joao Ramos

Joao Ramos, Deputy General Manager of Operations, kicked off the day by sharing his journey within the company. He then outlined La Providence's strategy and future challenges, delivering an inspiring speech that helped the students envision their career paths and the growth opportunities available to them at La Providence.

Company Overview by Hicham Bouayad

Next, Hicham Bouayad, Director of Development and Digital, took the stage to walk the students through the company’s history and highlight its core values. With revenues steadily growing, La Providence remains a human-scale company, which allows us to stay close to both our clients and employees.

To wrap up the integration day, Virginie Nouaili, Head of Quality, Safety, and Environment, led a fun and educational workshop on workplace safety. As part of our risk prevention efforts, La Providence shared its experience and now relies on the keen eyes of mentors and apprentices to help maintain the well-being of our 4,850 employees.

A big thank you to the event host, Benjamin Bernable, for flawlessly leading the day’s activities.
